On 4 November, the AMPERE Group signed a standby agreement between Mr Jean DEGUERRY, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Ain SDIS, and representatives of the AMPERE Group in Brégnier-Cordon.
Consequently, Senior Corporal Marjorie PEPIN, who works for the AMPERE Group as a design office technician, is head of the Brens CPINI unit and is seconded to the CIS stations in Belley and Brégnier-Cordon, will be able to take leave on official business to assist the public in accordance with the rules set out in the agreement.
This availability agreement is a tripartite agreement signed between the Ain SDIS, the employer and the volunteer firefighter, which sets out the conditions and thresholds for authorisation of absence so that the volunteer firefighter can carry out their operational duties (localised incidents in the vicinity) or undertake training during their working hours.
There are therefore numerous benefits! As outlined on the Sapeurs-Pompiers de France website, the partnership between businesses and volunteer firefighters thus contributes to the continuity and quality of local emergency services, which you may one day benefit from.
Towards a collective effort through rapid and effective emergency response, everywhere!
To local life as a force for solidarity, preserving the social fabric and the network of mutual support and voluntary organisations in our local communities.
It supports and strengthens the commitment of volunteer firefighters, who demonstrate every day that courage and dedication remain values that are as relevant as ever.
It should also be noted that the AMPERE group has qualified staff on site, ready to act immediately in the event of an emergency (fire, workplace accident, etc.).
This is a recognised act of civic-mindedness from which everyone benefits and which makes us proud…
