Quality Technician (H/F)
Do you have two years’ experience as a quality technician and a two-year post-secondary qualification in quality assurance or an industrial discipline? Then this vacancy is for you:
WHAT WILL YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
Ensuring quality compliance from raw materials through to the finished product.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Carry out incoming and in-process inspections of external supplies, where necessary
– Analyse inspection data (measurements, records, indicators, etc.)
– Analyse customer feedback and internal quality data
– Identify non-conformities and deviations
– Propose and oversee corrective and improvement action plans (supplier, customer and internal non-conformities)
– Draw up documents relating to compliance checks, traceability and quality monitoring
– Validate transferred or modified processes
– Complete the FAI (First Article Inspection) quality file at the start of projects: documentation, traceability, quality monitoring
– Isolate and deal with all non-compliant monitoring and measuring equipment
– Isolate and deal with production runs or deliveries measured using non-compliant monitoring and measuring equipment
– Update the quality indicators defined by the Quality Manager
– Carry out internal audits
– Induct new staff members into the department
NATURE AND SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
– Raise the alarm in the event of incidents, malfunctions or difficulties
– Comply with all operating procedures, protocols and written/verbal instructions (metrology, QHSE)
– Ensure product compliance prior to dispatch
– Ensure the compliance of components used (raw materials)
– Have the authority to halt production of a product, or to stop the use of equipment and/or processes that are defective, suspect or have an impact on the environment and safety, in order to require corrective and preventive actions for improvement
– Ensure the validation of transferred, modified or new processes and products
– Have the authority to halt the use of any suspect material
– Have the authority to halt any equipment that is not being monitored or that uses non-compliant measurement systems, and to demand corrective action
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
– Be proficient in IT tools
– Be familiar with measuring instruments
– Be familiar with quality tools (5P, 8D, Ishikawa, etc.)
– Be familiar with an ERP system
– English: B1

– Be proactive and possess analytical skills
– Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills when communicating
– Integrate into the team and demonstrate a cooperative attitude
– Be meticulous and organised
