Electromechanical training currently underway…

Since 18 September 2023, six trainees have been undertaking electromechanical training at the CORELEM site in Brégnier-Cordon as part of the POEI (Individual Operational Preparation for Employment) scheme. Led by Mehdi OUARET, a trainer specialising in the industrial sector, this training course will run for 35 days and 245 hours and will enable the trainees – all of whom are currently seeking employment – to progress and develop technical skills in the industrial sector. The programme for these sessions includes identifying electrical hazards, wiring an electrical cabinet, carrying out continuity tests, inspecting the finished product, as well as learning the basics of hydraulics and understanding the principles of wiring and operation of a programmable logic controller (PLC).

The training is scheduled to end on 24 November 2023, after which trainees will be offered either a 12-month fixed-term contract or a permanent contract, with roles as operators, fitters or cable fitters.
