On the initiative of France Travail, Pôle Emploi branches have welcomed companies and jobseekers to their premises for a work experience scheme called ‘Je teste un métier’ (I’m trying out a job). AMPERE has chosen to take part and is one of the 156 companies that have taken part or will do so shortly. 1,500 jobseekers are registered for the initiative, which will greatly facilitate connections between companies and candidates.
“It’s a different approach to recruitment – welcoming people in to help them discover a career,” explains Sylvie Lac, business adviser at the Pôle Emploi branch in Brive-la-Gaillarde. “We’ve used these work placements as a way to bring companies and candidates together.”
The Chiché site will therefore welcome four production trainees next June. Watch this space!
